Steve Sabella took these captivating photos between 2000 and 2007 during the Second Intifada, a unique period in Palestine history, marked by endless checkpoints, blockades, and the construction of an eight-meter-high, 700 kilometers long separation wall. Yet back then, Sabella had rare access to all parts of the land, including the still enclaved Gaza Strip, granting him a unique look at life in Palestine.
Palestine UNSETTLED is also the name of an art photography book by Steve Sabella on Palestine which won The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture Grant. Exhibited within the book's space will be 100 images some of which are featured in the poster collection. It will be published in the summer of 2022.
